Odisha Hydro Power Corporation (OHPC) has issued a tender for manufacturing, erection, testing, and commissioning of four vertical Francis reversible pump-turbines, each rated at 150 MW, for a total installed capacity of 600 MW.
The turnkey EPC contract covers associated motor-generator sets, auxiliary and ancillary equipment, and the construction of power evacuation structures, along with all related civil, hydro-mechanical, and electrical works. The project, located at Ranibahal in Kalahandi district, Odisha, is part of the Upper Indravati Pumped Storage Project (UIPSP).
The scope also includes the installation of all necessary systems for seamless integration and reliable operation of the pumped storage facility. The facility aims to provide peak-load support, grid stability, and renewable energy integration, aligning with Odisha’s energy security and sustainability goals.
The tender closing date is 19 September, 2025.
