The Narmada Water Resources, Water Supply & Kalpsar Department has floated a tender for Phase-6A of the watershed development project along the Sabarmati River banks.
The work spans from Sant Sarovar Barrage to Shahpur Bridge in Gandhinagar district and includes the development of waterbodies and riverfront infrastructure. Valued at Rs 232.41 crore, the initiative aims to enhance water conservation, prevent soil erosion, and improve the ecological balance along the river corridor.
The proposed works will also contribute to urban beautification, recreational space development, and improved water management in the region. The tender outlines a completion timeline of 12 months, including the monsoon period.
The bid submission deadline is set for 15 October, 2025.
