Odisha Construction Corporation has invited bids for a major infrastructure contract worth Rs 553.34 crore to build an in-stream storage structure (ISS) at Kukedmal across the Tel River in Bolangir district.

The work covers comprehensive works including hydro-mechanical components, power connectivity, road connectivity, staff quarters, as well as survey, investigation, planning, design, and estimation of all project components. The scope also includes operation and maintenance (O&M) of the project for a period of five years or five flood seasons, whichever is longer, following successful commissioning. The project aims to enhance water resource management, ensure flood moderation, and improve socio-economic benefits in the region.

The stipulated completion period is 36 calendar months, inclusive of rainy seasons. Interested and eligible bidders must submit their proposals by the closing date of 15 September, 2025.
