1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

ToR accorded to Godawari Power and Ispat’s Rs 2,040 cr expansion plan

The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) has accorded terms of reference (ToR) to Godawari Power and Ispat for expansion and modernisation of existing facilities.

The project will be located at 428/2, Phase-I, Industrial Area, Siltara, Raipur, in the state of Chhattisgarh.

The expansion and modernisation of the existing manufacturing units and setting up of new units include -- sponge iron plant to 6,50,000 tpa, capacity enhancement of steel melting shop from 4,00,000 tpa to 7,00,000 tpa; power generation 73 MW; ferro alloys 16,500 tpa; pig iron 33,000 tpa; HB wire 1,00,000 tpa; iron ore beneficiation plant 10,00,000 tpa; rolling mill 4,00,000 tpa.

The project also involves induction furnace for casting in place of arc furnace 5,000 tpa; iron ore pellet plant from 21,00,000 tpa to 24,00,000 tpa; slag crushing plant  1,75,000 tpa and mineral grinding unit 2,00,000 tpa.

The land area in possession for the existing plant is 86.464 ha which is industrial land. Additionally, acquired land is 7.361 ha for the proposed expansion. The existing and proposed projects will be located in the total area of 93.825 ha.

The cost of the project is approximately Rs 2,040 crore. The total electricity load will be 138.5 MW post-expansion.

The ore for the proposed expansion will be procured from captive iron ore mines at Ari Dongri, Kanker, Chhattisgarh & Boria Tibbu district, Rajnandgaon district, Chhattisgarh via iron ore crushing unit at Gidhali, Balod district, Chhattisgarh and local market/ Odisha mines.
