Triton Hotels and Resorts, which operates luxury properties such as Raffles in Udaipur and Jaipur, as well as Fairmont and Le Meridien in Jaipur, is set to expand beyond Rajasthan.
The Group plans to develop new high-end resorts in Goa, Rishikesh, Bangalore, and Alibaug (Maharashtra), while also targeting Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities for future projects. Triton is targeting a turnover of Rs 300 crore this year and plans to invest around Rs 150 crore annually to fund expansion, using a combination of internal accruals and bank loans.
Ratan Kant Sharma, Chairman of Triton Hotels and Resorts, noted a significant post-Covid boom in the hospitality sector, with sharp rises in occupancy and average room rates. He attributed this to shifting consumer behavior, and increasing preference for domestic travel, which is driving last-minute bookings.
