Of the 43 road projects awarded by National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) under hybrid annuity model (HAM), 22 projects have achieved financial closure.
As per an official from D R Agrawal Infracon, the company achieved financial closure for its HAM project on 9 March, 2017. The company had successfully bid for the project in mid-2016 and is one of the first companies to have achieved financial closure.
Among the remaining road projects, 15 projects are awaiting financial closure, while one has been cancelled. Details of the remaining five are not known.
Most of these projects were awarded in March 2017.
The construction company, Sadbhav Engineering remained the most active bidder, winning six out of the 43 HAM projects. MBL Infrastructure is yet to achieve financial closure for two road projects, while one project it won was cancelled in early 2017.
