1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

UCSL bags order to construct bollard pull tugs

Udupi Cochin Shipyard (UCSL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cochin Shipyard (CSL) has bagged an order from Ocean Sparkle (OSL), an Adani Harbor Services company. The contract is for construction of three Azimuthing Stern Drive (ASD) tugs of 70 T Bollard Pull Power.

UCSL had earlier contracted construction of two 62 T bollard pull ASD tugs for OSL. These have been deployed by OSL at Paradeep Port and New Mangalore Port.
These new 70 Tonne Bollard tugs will have a length of 33 mtrs., beam of 12.2 mtrs. and draft of 4.2 mtrs. These tugs, designed by Robert Allan, which is a design house for harbour tugs, will be built under the Indian flag.

UCSL had earlier signed contracts with Polestar Maritime for construction of two ASD tugs of 70 T Bollard Pull. The second vessel of the series is under construction at UCSL yard in Malpe, Karanataka. Polestar Maritime has also placed a repeat order with UCSL for construction of one more 70 T Bollard Pull tug.
