UltraTech Cement has announced the commissioning of additional cement capacity at its various units, resulting in an increase of 1.8 million tonne per annum (MTPA).
The Dhule unit in Maharashtra has added 0.6 MTPA with a new grinding unit, while the Nathdwara unit in Rajasthan has contributed 1.2 MTPA with its integrated unit. Following these expansions, UltraTech’s total domestic grey cement manufacturing capacity now stands at 188.66 MTPA. Including its overseas capacity of 5.4 MTPA, the company’s global cement production capacity reaches 194.06 MTPA.
This expansion strengthens UltraTech’s position as a key player in the global cement market, meeting growing demand and enhancing production efficiency.
