Unity Infraprojects is expected to develop two mixed-use housing projects in
Kolkata and Bangalore with a total outlay of around Rs 500 crore. The projects
will be aimed at middle-to-high income segments.
The company has already acquired 37 acre in these two cities. Work on
the projects is likely to begin by April 2010.
The company has two wholly-owned subsidiaries - Unity Realty & Developers and
Unity Infrastructure Assets. While the former is into real estate development,
the later company takes up cash contracts on BOT basis in various segments of
the infrastructure sector.
