The Government of Uttar Pradesh is planning to unveil new 'Integrated Industrial Township Policy' in the state.
The state government has already directed Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) to prepare and present the draft of new policy as soon as possible. Through this policy it intends to facilitate private sector participation in developing industrial townships in the state.
As per the proposed policy, starting from assembly of land, private enterprise will be responsible for developing the township equipped with industrial technology and design, allotment and its maintenance. Further, willing developer will submit the detailed project report (DPR) after arranging the land.
UPSIDA will then notify the township as industrial area and will prepare master-plan for the same, which will have to be followed by private enterprise in development of such township.
