Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved a Rs 183.71 crore package aimed at infrastructure development and disaster relief across various districts.
This initiative focuses on road construction, water supply projects, housing for government personnel, and grants for Panchayati Raj institutions. A key component of the funding is directed towards road strengthening, including Rs 12.90 crore for upgrading the Nandprayag–Ghat–Sutol–Kanol motor road and Rs 11.15 crore for widening and strengthening the road in Kaladhungi constituency. Additionally, Rs 6.55 crore has been earmarked for a water supply scheme in Chamoli district.
The Chief Minister also approved Rs 11.29 crore for building residential units for staff of the Prosecution Department in Haridwar. The development works aim to enhance infrastructure and ensure smooth services, particularly for the Shri Nanda Devi Raj Jat Yatra.
