Vedanta has awarded a Rs 865 crore integrated service contract to Asian Energy Services (AESL) for field development and operations & maintenance (O&M). The contract amount includes GST and will be executed over a period of 57 months.

In a regulatory filing, AESL highlighted that the project is aligned with its strategic focus on integrated O&M services, which remain a key growth driver for the firm. The contract strengthens AESL's portfolio in upstream oil and gas services and reinforces its long-standing relationship with Vedanta.

Following its acquisition by Oilmax Energy, AESL has broadened its footprint across various energy sectors, particularly in the upstream oil and gas segment, to ensure long-term value creation for both shareholders and stakeholders. This contract is expected to significantly contribute to AESL’s revenue over the next five years and bolster its position as a leading integrated energy services provider in India’s oil and gas landscape.
