The estimated cost of the project is Rs 550 crore.
The project will have a capacity to produce 2x150 ktpa/ 300 ktpa of DI pipes by converting 0.3 million tpa hot liquid metal out of 0.45 million tpa hot liquid metal from blast furnace to ductile iron spun pipes having a size range of DN 80 to DN 1,200.
Work on the project is expected to commence soon.
