Haryana-based Vibhor Steel Tubes (VSTL) has begun supply of electric resistance welded (ERW) and galvanized (GI) pipes from its new greenfield plant in Sundargarh, Odisha.
Commercial production at the 1,56,000 MTPA facility started in July 2025, following a Rs 119.83 crore investment completed over 30 months. The plant manufactures value-added steel products such as crash barriers, power transmission line towers, high mast lighting poles, octagonal poles, and monopoles. With this commissioning, VSTL’s total installed capacity has expanded to 377,000 MTPA across its three plants in Maharashtra, Telangana, and Odisha.
The company’s product portfolio includes ERW pipes, hotdipped galvanised pipes, hollow section pipes, and primer painted pipes. Notably, over 80 percent of its turnover comes from contract manufacturing for Jindal Pipes, under the “Jindal Star” brand. VSTL supplies its products to major western and southern markets including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu.
