Voltamp Transformers is on track to complete its new EHV power transformer manufacturing facility in Gujarat by June 2026, with progress proceeding as per schedule.
The plant, located in Jarod, Vadodara, will initially have an annual capacity of 6,000 MVA in the first phase, with total capital expenditure estimated at Rs 200 crore, funded through internal accruals. By 08 November, 2025, Rs.82.82 crore of capex had been spent on the project. The company recently achieved a milestone by manufacturing its highest-rated transformer yet, a 160 MVA unit, ahead of its scheduled delivery.
Voltamp’s order book for FY26 has been strong, with Rs.1,377 crore worth of orders secured. Despite focusing on profitability and execution certainty, the company remains optimistic, citing strong demand for transformers driven by grid expansion.
