Water Resources Department (WRD), Maharashtra, has issued a tender for the construction of essential infrastructure for the Main Jihe Kathapur Lift Irrigation Scheme No. 02.
Under Guruvarya Late Laxmanrao Inamdar Lift Irrigation Scheme (GLLILIS), the scope of work includes the construction of headworks, pump houses, switchyards, rising mains, a delivery chamber, and the installation of pumping machinery. It involves comprehensive civil, mechanical, and electrical works to be executed in three stages. The project's scope covers the entire irrigation setup, aiming to improve water distribution efficiency for agricultural needs in the region. The work is expected to be completed within 48 months.
The deadline for bid submission is 20 January 2026.
