Škoda Auto Volkswagen India (SAVWIPL) has bolstered its aftersales infrastructure to enhance the ownership experience for customers. Over the past decade, the company has doubled its regional distribution centre (RDC) capacity to 52,000 sq. mtrs., with a recent 8,000 sq. mtrs. expansion in Pune, Maharashtra.
This RDC now covers 33,000 sq. mtrs. and serves as a pivotal hub for managing parts and accessories across SAVWIPL’s premium brands: Škoda, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, and Lamborghini. It supports domestic and international operations, underscoring the company’s focus on efficiency and reliability.
SAVWIPL operates distribution centres in NCR and Bangalore, ensuring nationwide coverage. The service network has also grown by 35 percent in the past two years, now encompassing 540 touchpoints across India. These expansions are aimed at providing expert assistance for maintenance and repairs, making support easily accessible. It aligns with SAVWIPL’s commitment to the Indian market and its diverse product portfolio, which includes battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and internal combustion engine (ICE) models. The enhanced infrastructure ensures faster distribution of genuine parts, improving customer satisfaction and solidifying SAVWIPL’s position as a trusted mobility partner.
