AXISCADES Technologies has won an order from premier Indian defence laboratories across airborne, naval, and radar-based platforms.
The order has been awarded by the Electronics & Radar Development Establishment (LRDE), a key lab under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence. The contract has been executed with Mistral Solutions, a subsidiary of AXISCADES, for the development of the Exciter and Receiver unit of the Virupaksh Radar, which is part of the Su-30MKI fighter aircraft upgrade programme.
The initial order is for prototype development, with the design and development phase expected to be completed within 18 months. Following successful development, a production order will be placed for 84 radar upgrade units. The production phase is estimated to span three to five years. The development component is valued at approximately Rs four crore (excluding GST), while the production order is anticipated to be worth around Rs 120 crore.
