Andhra Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation has invited bids for the engineering, design and construction of a 38.40 km viaduct for Phase-1 of the Vijayawada Metro Rail project.

The scope includes a 4.33 km double-decker, four-lane flyover-cum-metro viaduct, one underground Metro station, and 32 elevated metro stations, along with all associated works as specified. The project will be executed on an EPC basis. The estimated project value is Rs 4,150 crore. The overall completion period is 30 months from the commencement date, with a dedicated 24-month timeframe for the double-decker flyover segment.

The project aims to enhance public transportation in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, improve connectivity, and ease traffic congestion. Interested and eligible bidders must submit their proposals before the closing date of 17 September, 2025.
