Bajel Projects has been awarded a mega EPC contract for constructing a 400kV double circuit (D/C) quad transmission line project by PowerGrid Corporation of India (PGCIL), through its special purpose vehicle (SPV) “POWERGRID Siwani Transmission” (formerly Bikaner B Power Transmission).
The order forms part of the transmission system associated with the Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) Phase-IV (Part 3: 6GW) in the Bikaner Complex. The awarded Transmission Line Package TL04 pertains to the Siwani-Jind (PG) 400kV D/C (Quad) transmission line, under the tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) route, with the specification number CC/NT/W-TW/DOM/A04/25/03431.
The order involves the construction of approx. 99 km of new 400kV transmission lines. The contract duration is 18 months from the issuance date of the notification of award (NoA). This order further reinforces Bajel Projects’ credentials in executing high-voltage infrastructure projects and contributes to India’s vision of strengthening green energy transmission networks.
