Godrej Agrovet has approved the acquisition of the remaining 48.06 percent stake in Creamline Dairy Products (CDPL), making it a wholly-owned subsidiary.

The transaction, valued at Rs 930 crore, will be completed by 30 September. CDPL, incorporated in 1986, specialises in milk procurement, processing, and dairy products under the 'Godrej Jersey' brand, generating a turnover of over Rs 1,540 crore in FY24.

The acquisition will strengthen Godrej Agrovet’s presence in the dairy sector, consolidating its position in the value-added dairy products space.
