IndoSpace is set to invest over Rs 1,037 crore to develop a 188-acre industrial and logistics park in Chakan area in Pune, Maharashtra, reinforcing its presence in one of India’s key manufacturing hubs. This marks IndoSpace’s eighth logistics park in Pune, expanding its regional footprint to 525 acres.
The upcoming park aims to support demand from industries including automotive, engineering, electronics, and third-party logistics (3PL). The Chakan-Talegaon corridor, part of Pune’s thriving industrial ecosystem, recorded 6.7 million sq ft of absorption in 2024, underlining the area’s growing importance in the supply chain sector.
Located within MIDC Chakan, the new park—IndoSpace Chakan V, will be strategically situated along major national and state highways such as the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, Pune-Nashik Highway, Pune-Ahmednagar-Aurangabad Highway, and the Bengaluru-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, offering seamless connectivity across western India.
Anshuman Singh, MD & CEO of IndoSpace said, “With IndoSpace Chakan V, we are strengthening our ability to support the evolving requirements of India’s industrial growth and logistics transformation.” The investment is part of IndoSpace’s long-term strategy to scale up integrated supply chain infrastructure across India.
