Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India (MHRIL) plans to add 1,000 rooms by March 2026 to meet rising demand.

With 5,698 rooms across 126 resorts under its Club Mahindra brand, the company aims to expand into 15 new destinations in the next five quarters. It has already added nine locations in FY25.

Key projects include greenfield developments in a 236-key property at Ganapatipule in Maharashtra and a 157-room resort at Theog in Himachal Pradesh, along with brownfield expansions in Jaipur and Kandaghat. MHRIL targets 10,000 rooms by FY30, supported by strong occupancy rate of 84.2 percent in Q3/FY25.

The government initiatives to enhance tourism infrastructure and connectivity, including the development of 50 top tourist spots, are expected to drive further growth. The company anticipates these measures will attract investments, create jobs, and boost local economies.
