Pinnacle Industries has been selected to design and manufacture sleeper berths and executive seating for the Amrit Bharat Express, a key part of Indian Railways’ push towards modernising long-distance travel.

The seating solutions, tailored for both AC and non-AC coaches, focus on comfort, safety, and compliance. Features include enhanced cushion thickness for long journeys, aluminium extrusions for upper berths, and visually consistent colour schemes. To ensure passenger safety, anti-injury fittings and EN45545-2 HL3 fire-resistant materials have been used, meeting Indian Railways’ stringent safety standards.
