REnergy Dynamics (RED), a key player in India’s bioenergy sector, has partnered with global technology leader GMM Pfaudler to locally manufacture paddle agitators under the Government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative.
The commercial production has started at a modern facility in Gujarat, making RED-GMM one of the first in India to supply this crucial equipment for compressed biogas (CBG) plants. These agitators are already operational in marquee projects, including Reliance Industries’ flagship CBG plant executed by RED. With nearly 1,000 CBG plants expected in India over the next three years, the paddle agitator market is projected to reach Rs 7,500 crore.
GMM Pfaudler’s agitators have also been employed in the hydrolysis mixing process of the bamboo-based 2G Ethanol facility at Assam Bio Refinery. This alliance underscores RED’s commitment to advancing technology, quality, and affordability in India’s renewable energy landscape.
