The much-awaited Ratu Road flyover in Ranchi, Jharkhand is set to be inaugurated on 03 July, 2025, and Union Road Transport and Highways, Minister Nitin Gadkari will officiate the ceremony and address a public gathering at OTC Ground in Piska More, the same day.

The 4.18-km, four-lane flyover has now reached completion. Constructed by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) since 2021, the project aims to ease severe traffic congestion along the Kutchery-Ratu Road stretch. In preparation, traffic cones have been placed from Kutchery Chowk to streamline movement toward the elevated corridor. The flyover will significantly cut travel time from over 30 minutes to just 10 minutes.

The corridor is expected to benefit not just Ranchi but also commuters from Gumla and Daltonganj. Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth has urged NHAI to develop space under the flyover into a play area, addressing the city's shortage of recreational spaces for children.
