SPML Infra, a leading water infrastructure company in India, has secured a Rs 385 crore contract for the water production & supply system in the Kekri-Sarwar Sector (Package-III) in Ajmer, Rajasthan.

The order, awarded under theal Jeevan Mission, also includes a 10-year operation and maintenance (O&M) contract to ensure long-term sustainability and efficiency. The initiative is part of the Kekri Water Supply Scheme and aims to significantly upgrade the region’s water infrastructure by drawing water from the Bisalpur Dam.

The work includes the construction of a 160 MLD water treatment plant (WTP) at Kekri, meeting high water quality standards. Key components also include two clear water reservoirs with a combined capacity of 37.75 MLD—20 MLD at WTP Kekri and 17.75 MLD at IPS Nasirabad PH. A 58.675 km MS rising main pipeline will connect WTP Kekri to IPS Nasirabad, strengthening the transmission network. The project features advanced technologies like SCADA systems, modern pumping stations, and integrated electrical and mechanical systems.<
