Steelcase Asia Pacific Holdings India, the wholly-owned subsidiary of US-based office furniture and workspace solutions giant Steelcase, has leased approx. 1,30,000 sq. ft. of industrial space at IndoSpace Industrial Park in Chakan, Pune, reflecting Steelcase’s commitment to its Indian operations.

The long-term lease spans over five years and is expected to strengthen the company’s regional footprint in India, where it already maintains substantial operations. The leased facility is spread across two units within a building owned by IndoSpace Park Chakan 1 D, a subsidiary of industrial and logistics park developer IndoSpace. Additionally, the agreement outlines a lock-in period of three years, ensuring a stable tenure.

The Chakan region, a key industrial hub near Pune, has consistently attracted major players due to its strategic location, connectivity, and infrastructure.
