Telangana government has unveiled plans for the Greenfield Radial Road, named Ratan Tata Road, linking the Tata Interchange at Raviryal on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) to the Regional Ring Road (RRR) at Amangal. The Rs 4,030 crore project aims to enhance connectivity and promote urban development.

Spanning 41.5 km, the expressway will traverse six mandals - Maheshwaram, Ibrahimpatnam, Kandukur, Yacharam, Kadthal, and Amangal, covering 14 villages in Rangareddy district. It will be built in two phases: Phase I, covering 19.2 km from ORR (Raviryal, Tata Interchange) to Meerkhanpet at Rs 1,665 crore, and Phase II, covering 22.3 km from Meerkhanpet to RRR at Amangal at Rs 2,365 crore.

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) and Hyderabad Growth Corridor (HGCL) will oversee the construction of the 100-mtrs.-wide access-controlled expressway. Initially designed as a six-lane (3+3) main carriageway, it will have provisions for future expansion to eight lanes.

A 20-mtrs.-wide central median has been allocated for a future metro or railway corridor in alignment with long-term urban mobility planning. The expressway will incorporate service roads, a greenbelt, cycle tracks, footpaths, and a utility corridor on both sides to support sustainable transport infrastructure.
