VVDN Technologies has partnered with QNX, a division of BlackBerry, to develop safety-critical solutions across the automotive and embedded technology sectors.
The collaboration will leverage QNX’s real-time operating systems (Neutrino RTOS) and safety-certified hypervisors with VVDN’s strengths in electronics manufacturing, centralised ECU development, sensor fusion, and battery management systems. The partnership targets high-growth areas such as software-defined vehicles, ADAS, autonomous driving, digital cockpit systems, and eMobility solutions. It also extends to embedded applications in medical devices, industrial controls, aerospace, and robotics.
VVDN President Vivek Bansal stated that the collaboration reinforces the company’s focus on delivering mission-critical, real-time solutions, while QNX's APAC head Dhiraj Handa highlighted VVDN's strong hardware and system design capabilities that complement QNX's safety-driven software stack.
