Envision Energy has performed the ground-breaking ceremony on 25 September, 2025 for a two GW wind turbine blade manufacturing facility in Kalyangadh, Bavla Taluka, Ahmedabad district, Gujarat.
The plant will have the capacity to produce up to 1,500 blades annually using six moulds and will cater to both 3.3 MW and five MW wind turbine platforms. This marks Envision’s third manufacturing facility in India and is part of its Rs 500 crore expansion plan aimed at boosting its manufacturing footprint in the country. The project is being developed by DA Group and constructed by Ashwika Warehousing. Once operational, the facility will support over four GW of wind energy projects spread across more than 10 sites in five districts of Gujarat.
The ground-breaking ceremony was led by Chief Guest Devusinh Jesingbhai Chauhan, MP (Lok Sabha), Kheda, Gujarat, and attended by dignitaries and senior leadership from Envision Energy India, led by MD RPV Prasad.
