Uni Linc India, a joint venture between Linc Ltd and Tokyo-based Mitsubishi Pencil has officially inaugurated its ballpoint pen manufacturing facility in Umbergaon, South Gujarat.

This new facility combines Mitsubishi Pencil’s renowned craftsmanship with competitive pricing tailored to meet the demands of India’s large-volume market. Linc Ltd highlighted that the product range will gradually expand to include value-added writing instruments, enhancing consumer choice and strengthening its market presence. The joint venture aims to introduce a new standard in writing instruments by merging world-class Japanese technology with affordability.

Uni Linc India is also positioned as a strategic hub to launch Mitsubishi’s entire writing instrument portfolio across India, establishing a critical supply chain node. This move is expected to boost the accessibility and quality of writing products in India, reinforcing Linc’s leadership in the sector.
