Of this, a notable contract worth Rs 162.79 crore was bagged by Sunshine Powertech from Ajmer Electricity Distribution Corporation. The scope of work includes the supply, erection, installation, testing, and commissioning of materials and equipment for the development of distribution infrastructure. Specifically, the project targets the segregation of 11 kV mixed feeders in the Jhunjhunu Circle of Ajmer Discom, Rajasthan, under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS).In April 2025, the Other Community Services sector saw the finalisation of 52 contracts. The major highlight was a Rs 2,198.43 crore contract bagged by Larsen & Toubro (L&T) from the Central Public Works Department (CPWD). The job work involves the construction of a Common Central Secretariat Buildings 6 and 7 at Plot Nos. 22B & 22C, Maulana Azad Road, New Delhi.In the Aircraft sector, two notable contracts were awarded in April 2025. Among them, Bharat Electronics secured a Rs 2,210 crore contract from the Ministry of Defence for the supply of Electronic Warfare (EW) Suites for Mi-17 V5 helicopters of the Indian Air Force.In April 2025, the Wind-Based Power sector witnessed the awarding of a significant contract. Suzlon Energy secured a project from NTPC Green Energy for the development of a 378 MW wind energy project in the Gadag region of Karnataka. As part of the contract, Suzlon will supply 120 S144 Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) with hybrid lattice towers (HLTs), each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW. The scope also includes foundation work, erection, commissioning, and comprehensive operations and maintenance (O&M) services.In April 2025, the Real Estate sector saw the awarding of 19 contracts. A key contract was bagged by Ahluwalia Contracts (India) from Godrej Properties. The contract entails the core and shell construction of both the substructure and superstructure for Towers T1, T2, T3, and T4, along with associated works including the NTA block, club and retail spaces, boundary wall, rainwater harvesting (RWH), waterproofing, and lightning protection system (LPS) at Godrej Riverine, located in Sector-44, Noida, Uttar Pradesh.In April 2025, a single but significant contract was concluded in the Ship, Boats, etc sector. Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers secured a Rs 489.98 crore contract from Geological Survey of India (GSI) for the construction and delivery of two coastal research vessels.In April 2025, the Water & Sewerage Pipeline & Distribution sector saw the awarding of 20 contracts. A major highlight was Volksara Techno Solutions securing a Rs 114.05 crore contract from the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation.
