www.projectstoday.comMay 2025Project Tenders11The most notable tender of the month was issued by the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) for the construction of the integrated Andhra Pradesh state secretariat & HoD offices (Towers 1 to 4 & GAD tower) in Amaravati Government Complex, in Andhra Pradesh. The aggregate value of the tenders was Rs 3,514.54 crore.In all, during the month of April 2025, a total of 8,319 project tenders were floated for various work orders worth Rs 1,21,716.60 crore. In the preceding month of March 2025, 9,357 project tenders worth Rs 1,53,082 crore were announced. During April 2025, Nine mega-value (Rs 1,000 crore and above) worth Rs 11,069.24 crore were issued across sub-sectors like Other Community Services, Water & Sewerage Pipeline & Distribution, Industrial & Software Parks, Coal, and Real Estate.BY OWNERSHIP The state government agencies issued 5,886 tenders worth Rs 88,650.29 crore and accounted for 72.83 percent of the total tenders issued during the month. On the other hand, the Central government issued 2,342 tenders worth Rs 32,359.57 crore for various project-related works. BY SECTORS The Roadways sector saw issuance of 2,539 tenders worth Rs 32,177.09 crore in April 2025. The most notable tender in this sector was issued by the Bihar State Road Devp. Corpn. for widening & improvement to four lane of SH106 (Old NH-30), Deedarganj-Fatuha-Bakhtiyarpur-Karzan Road (km 0.00 to km 41.27) in Bihar on an EPC mode. The aggregate value of the tenders was Rs 831.62 crore.NHAI floated 224 tenders with an aggregate value of Rs 4,131.8 crore followed by the RCD, Bihar with 57 tenders worth Rs 3,009.78 crore. The Government of India, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways floated 70 tenders with an aggregate value of Rs 2,170.32 crore.The Other Community Services sector grabbed the second position with 2,221 tenders worth Rs 26,435.84 crore during April 2025.
