Of this, Rs 25,410 crore came from seven Solar/Wind initiatives, while the Rs 5,000 crore bulk drugs facility by Laurus Labs was the other major contributor.Madhya Pradesh followed, attracting Rs 30,168 crore across 53 projects. Renewable energy remained central, with 17 solar/wind projects amounting to Rs 27,445 crore, about 91 percent of the total fresh investment.The remaining top 10 states included Gujarat (Rs 26,114 crore), Odisha (Rs 22,414 crore), Uttar Pradesh (Rs 13,233 crore), Telangana (Rs 8,205 crore), and Tamil Nadu (Rs 7,579 crore).
