HFCL, in collaboration with Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) and Aerial Telecom Solutions, has won major contracts totaling over Rs 8,100 crore under BharatNet Phase-III project.
The HFCL-led consortium secured bids valued at approx. Rs 6,925 crore to develop middle-mile infrastructure across the East and West regions of Uttar Pradesh.
Additionally, HFCL independently won the Punjab circle contract, worth Rs 1,244 crore, with subsequent operations and maintenance (O&M) orders over 10 years totaling Rs 4,155 crore for the UP regions and Rs 746 crore for Punjab.
BharatNet Phase III aims to extend high-speed internet to 6.4 lakh villages, connecting over 2,50,000 gram panchayats at a minimum bandwidth of 100 Mbps. The company’s robust product lineup, including routers, optical fiber cables, and other transport solutions, aligns with BharatNet’s infrastructure requirements.
HFCL's facilities in Hyderabad, Goa, Chennai, and Manesar manufacture telecom equipment under the production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme.
