The National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) is planning to construct Delhi’s first 100-storey building. It will be built in Karkardooma, East Delhi.
NBCC plans to commission the project over the next three to four years.
DDA has awarded 75 acre of land in Karkardooma to NBCC for the joint development.
The building is expected to cost Rs 2,500 crore. The 100 storey building will provide housing to 3,000 to 4,000 families. It will also have commercial and recreational areas.
NBCC have received the Letter of Intent (LoI) from DDA in the matter of joint development. Now, it is in the process of preparing the MoU.
The project will be developed on the lines of the government’s ‘smart city’ concept.
