Mumbai-based Patel Engineering has bagged three
major orders worth Rs.361 crore for highways development from National Highways
Authority of India.
The company has bagged a Rs.224 crore project for
four-laning and strengthening of NH-7 from Madurai to Kanyakumari (Km160 to
Km203).
It has also won the Rs.238.72 crore project for
strengthening and widening from two lane to four lane, of the existing section
of NH-37 from Nagaon to Dharmatul in Assam. It also includes four laning of the
Nagaon Bypass on NH-37 (Km280.57), crossing NH-36 near Km5 and up to Km262.7 of
NH-37 in Assam. Both these projects are part of NHDP-Phase II and will be
executed through the joint venture route.
The share of Patel Engineering in these contracts
is Rs.361 crore.
