Madhucon Projects has bagged two separate orders
from National Highways Authority of India for highway development projects in
Bihar and Tamil Nadu. The orders are collectively valued at Rs.750 crore.
Bihar: In Bihar, Madhucon will develop a
stretch on NH-57 from single lane to four lane. The order, valued at Rs.388
crore, is on civil contract basis. The stretch is part of the East West Corridor
project of NHAI. The project will be completed within 30 months.
Tamil Nadu: Madhucon will develop a
stretch on NH-7 on BOT basis. The Rs.360 crore contract involves design,
development, financing, operation and maintenance of a stretch between Dindigul
and Karur (around km68 on NH-7) on BOT basis. The project involves a positive
(to be paid by NHAI to Madhucon) of Rs.86 crore.
