DS Constructions bagged an order worth
Rs.322 crore from National Highways Authority of India for strengthening
and widening of the existing two-lane road into four-lane from KM.488.27 to
KM.413.20 of NH-24 Lucknow-Sitapur
road in Uttar Pradesh on BOT basis.
The 75 km road project will be
implemented by a special purpose vehicle called 'Lucknow Sitapur Expressway
Ltd'.
Work on the project is scheduled for
completion by June 2009 (42 months) with a concession period of 20 years.
The project once completed will
enhance the accessibility of Western Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Northern
Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir to the east-West
corridor and the golden quadrilateral.
