Sadbhav Engineering has bagged a
downstream order from Punj Lloyd for an integrated improvement and maintenance
on a 195-km stretch from Lalsot to Kota Road in Rajasthan. (Contract package:
LJ-1). The project involves widening of the 195 km stretch of existing
road to two lanes with a total width of 10.5m including hard-paved shoulders.
Confirming this development, senior
officials from Sadbhav Engineering told ProjectsToday that a formal agreement
including the performance guarantee will be signed with Punj Lloyd on Monday, 17
July 2006.
Work on the order, valued at Rs.293.42
crore, will begin by end-July 2006 with completion targeted within 21 months.
The maintenance work would take place for five years from the time the
improvement work is completed.
It may be mentioned that the contract
is a downstream order valued at Rs.302 crore that was placed on Punj Lloyd by
Road Infrastructure Development Co of Rajasthan in early June 2006.
