1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

  • Indo Tech Transformers bagged an order worth Rs.95 crore from Tamil Nadu Electricity Board for power transformers of 8 MVA (33 kV) and 16 MVA (33 kV) and 110 kV ratings.

  • Dolphin Offshore Enterprises India along with Naftogaz Consortium bagged an order worth Rs.147 crore ($32.196 million) from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation for the BBBLRP Project. Work on the project will be implemented in two phases. Phase I  and Phase II is scheduled for completion by 30 April 2007 and 28 February 2008 respectively.

  • Bharat Heavy Electricals received the first commercial order from Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Co for supply, erection, testing and commissioning of an 80 MVAR, 400 kV controlled shunt reactor at Karad Substation on Karad - Lonikand line on turnkey basis. Work on the project is scheduled for completion within18 months. The reactor transformer for the CSR shall be manufactured at BHEL's Bhopal plant while the company's electronics division, Bangalore, will supply the control equipment. (more...)

B. Overseas Contracts

  • Suzlon Energy (Tianjin), China (a wholly owned subsidiary of Suzlon Energy) bagged an order for the supply of 50 MW of wind turbine capacity from China. The order is expected to be completed by 2007-08. The company has a consolidated order book position of Rs.6,637.87 crore, with Rs.5,813 crore in international orders and Rs.824.16 crore in domestic orders.

  • Denmark-based Suzlon Energy A/S bagged an order worth $283 million (Rs.1,300 crore) from SIIF Energies do Brasil Ltda to supply 225 MW wind turbines. The delivery of wind turbines will commence by March 2007 and the full order will be installed and commissioned over a period of 18 months.
  • Indo Asian Fusegear bagged an order worth Rs.21 crore from Saudi National Lamp & Electric, Saudi Arabia for the export of electrical equipment, used in the manufacture of lighting products.

Work on the project is scheduled for completion within 18 months.
