Gas Company (GGCL) on 15 December 2006 said that it has entered into a gas
procurement contract with ONGC-Reliance-BG controlled Panna, Mukta and Tapti
joint venture (PMT JV).
GGCL said that the board of directors had approved the gas-sales contract with
the PMT JV for purchase of 0.7 million standard cubic metres of gas per day.
The said quantity of gas was being supplied by the pmt joint venture to GGCL on
an uncommitted spot basis and is now expected to continue on a firm committed
basis till 31 March 2008.
The PMT JV is an unincorporated joint venture operating the Panna-Mukta and
Tapti Oil & Gas fields constituted by ONGC, Reliance Industries and BG
Exploration & Production India.
