Hindustan Construction Co in JV with
Megha Engineering & Infrastructures (MEIL) and CKD Blansko Engineering, Czech
Republic (CBE) bagged a contract worth Rs.1,398.50 crore from Government of
Andhra Pradesh for construction of three rows of 38.75 km each of three mtrs
diametre pipeline from the existing intake on river Godavari for the J
Chokka Rao Devadula Lift Irrigation Scheme (Phase III) - Package I.
The scope of work includes
investigation, design and laying pipeline in three rows to carry 49.60 cumecs of
water intake pump house to Bheemghanpur tank and execution of civil,
electro-mechanical, instrumentation, auxillary and miscellaneous equipment at
intake pumping station including SCADA communication system.
Of the total contract value, HCC's
share is Rs.629.33 crore and the work order is expected to be completed within
36 months.
