Indure (IPL), Delhi
has bagged an EPC contract worth Rs.930 crore from Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut
Utpadan Nigam.
Under the contract,
IPL will undertake balance of plant (BOP) equipment for 2x250 MW units of a
Chhabra Stage I (Phase II) coal based power plant in Rajasthan, which is scheduled to be commissioned in 24
months. Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) is supplying turbines, generators
and boilers for the project.
Earlier, IPL has won
contracts for Bokaro and Durgapur captive power plants of SAIL.
