Larsen & Toubro's
Construction Division has received new contracts worth Rs.1,162 crore. These
include Rs. 605 crore contract from Andhra Pradesh Rajiv Swagruha Corporation
for the construction of an integrated township comprising 3,517 flats in 27
blocks at Bachupally near Hyderabad. The contract is to be executed in the next
two years.
Larsen & Toubro also
bagged two contracts to construct cement plants. The company bagged a contract
from the KCP group for construction of new 4,000 tpd cement plant in Krishna
district of Andhra Pradesh. L&T will also be executing Lafarge India's cement
expansion plans at Jojobara plant in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. Construction period
for both the projects is 15 months.
