L&T (Oman) LLC, Muscat has secured three orders worth a total Rs 518.20
crore.
The first Rs.207.40 crore (RO 16.058 million) order from Rural Areas
Electricity Company SAOC, Oman, was for supply and erection of 33/11 kV
substations and 33 kV distribution network at Al Duqm area in A1 Wusta Region.
The project is to be completed in 18 months.
The second order worth Rs.206.10 crore (RO 15.058 million) from Oman
Electricity transmission Company SAOC, was for the construction of 132/33 kV
grid station at Wadi Sa'a in Buraimi Governorate of Sultanate of Oman, including
construction of 220 kV interconnection transmission line between Mahadah (A1
wasit) Grid Station and Seh A1 Makarim Grid Station, to be completed in 15
months.
The last order worth Rs.104.70 crore (RO 8.106 million) from Oman Tourism
Development Company SAOC, was for the construction of infrastructure and hard
landscaping works for the second Asian Beach Games in Muscat, where the company
is already executing the main package. This additional scope of work is to be
completed in 15 months.
