Afcons Infrastructure, a Shapoorji Pallonji group company, has secured a Rs
1,750 crore order from ONGC to develop an offshore ICPR Process platform at Bombay High at Mumbai.
Afcons will be executing the contract through a JV with Indonesia's Gunanusa.
The offshore platform is slated to be completed by the first quarter of 2011.
Meanwhile, the company is also setting up an oil and gas fabrication yard at
Mahuva in Gujarat, land acquisition for which is underway. The project to be set
up in Phases will entail an investment of Rs 6,000 crore. Phase I to cost Rs 125
crore is expected to be completed by the end of the current fiscal.
