BGR Energy Systems has secured a Rs 1,631.80 crore EPC for balance of plant (BoP)
package from Maharashtra Power Generation Corporation (Mahagenco) for the 2x500
MW Chandrapur Super Thermal Power Station Expansion Project at Chandrapur,
Maharashtra.
The scope of work envisages design, engineering, supply, erection, testing
and commissioning of all mechanical, electrical, civil and structural works for
the main plant and BoP. The contract is expected to be completed in 33 months.
