BHEL has bagged an order worth Rs 640 crore from Adhunik Power & Natural
Resources for setting up a thermal power unit in Jharkhand.
The power project envisages construction of a 270 MW power unit in
Jamshedpur. BHEL's scope of work involves design, engineering, manufacture,
supply, erection and commissioning of Steam Turbine, Generator and Boiler, along
with associated Auxiliaries and Electricals, besides state-of-the-art Controls &
Instrumentation and Electrostatic Precipitators.
